Unique to Pioneer tanks is our revolutionary 150mm diameter overflow connection and down-piping overflow.
Designed specifically to manage water overflow greater than the infill rate into your tank our system meets the Plumbing Industry Board regulations.
To ensure that your potable water supply is clean and chemical free we also use mechanical sealed bolts and not silicon eliminating potential contamination.
At the wall connection point is a specifically designed one piece spool that stops water from making contact and causing potential rust around the overflow.
8-80 V-LOCK
Engineered in Australia, each Pioneer water tank features an 8-80 V-Lock wall profile which provides the known strength of corrugated steel.
This avoids the common downsides of over stretched liners that are moulded to the tank wall.
By utilising this unique design the strength of your tank is enhanced and will remain stable when either full or empty.
The 8-80 V-LOC look adds a modern profile to your water tank that looks great and is super strong.
AQUALINER®
We understand that the quality of water is important which is why our Australian made Aqualiner® is inside every Pioneer Water Tank.
Most tank liners used are a hybrid structure of industrial fabrics that have been designed for other purposed.
The Aqualiner® is designed specifically and only for water storage to ensure your water is safe and secure and free from chemical seepage.
Manufactured to global safety and food standards and BPA free Aqualiner® features a multi-layered and multi-polymeric material internal reinforcing fabric weave, so your water is safe all year round.
AQUALINER® DOUBLE SEAM WELD
At the forefront of our Aqualiner® is our double seam weld. Using state of the art fabric welding machines the Aqualiner® double seam is dynamically heat welded by trained experts.
Providing complete protection at all liner joints our patented double seam weld prevents seepage, drops, leaks, and wicking of your water.
FULLY CONCEALED BOLTS
The Pioneer tanks cover assembly featuring our unique bolt strip which completely conceals all external bolts along the vertical seam of your tank.
This not only covers any structural bolts but also provided the additional elements of a smooth contemporary appearance that’s also tamper free.
SWIVEL FOOT ROOF CONNECTION
Your heavy duty roof connects to the body of the tank through a unique Swivel Foot Roof Connector and high-tensile bolts.
This superior method of connecting is exclusive to Pioneer Water Tanks and provides reliable load resistance and tie-down of the roof in all weather conditions.
The swivel foot pivots to the correct angle at the tank wall to ensure your roof trusses connect to the tank at the optimum angle for maximum strength and ensures that you don’t have to worry about the performance of your roof in the most extreme Australian conditions.
TEK SCREW CLASS 4
Known for their high strength and often used to fasten roof sheeting, Tek Screws are also used in each Pioneer water tank.
With a corrosion resistance rating of 1 to 4, the class 4 Tek screw offers the high resistance.
Each tank is installed using only class 4 Tek screws proving the highest corrosion resistance and long life performance.
GEOTEXTILE UNDERLAY
Forming a barrier between the internal tank liner (Aqualiner®) and the ground is a geotextile underlay which provides a strong protective layer.
This protective barrier is important to protect your liner from tree roots, burying insects, vermin and any sharp object that could damage your Aqualiner®

SUPERSEAL
A water tank needs to be able to protect your water. Most tanks on the market fail to provide effective protection from spiders, vermin, dust and dirt.
Our specifically designed Superseal is a closed cell foam that protects your water by filling the gaps between your tank wall and roof, ensuring your clean water is protected from external contamination.
Manufactured with Australian made Bluescope Steel a Pioneer Water Tank won’t disappoint.
